PASSION PROJECTS

Nepali Futurism

Photo Essay

The photo story draws inspiration from

Baroque era painting - its symbolism, chiaroscuro lighting, and formal composition.

The work juxtaposes Nepali and European clothing and accessories to forge the journey of Nepali and European culture as a singular, personal identity.

The essay is divided into three parts: The Future, The Present, and The Past - looking at an optimistic view of whats to come, a confrontation of modern identity and a reflection on the history of Nepal.

I Found Love In London

Poster Series

I was at a pub in Shoreditch and saw "I found love in London" scribbled on a cubicle wall.

The phrase really resonated with me - reflecting on the people I've met, the cultures I'm enveloped in, the architecture that's cemented in my mind to the wonderful experiences I've lived through in this beautiful city.

This led to an ongoing poster series consisting of moments I've captured on my Sony PJ410 as I mooch about London.

ISSUES

Fashion Film

ISSUES is a two-part fashion film series I creative directed, directed and edited, using conceptual storytelling to explore social themes that sit close to my heart.

The first film centres on homosexuality within the British ethnic diaspora, told with tenderness and honesty. The second reflects on feminism, focusing on unity and the power of channelling collective energy toward positive change.

Both films use fashion as a visual language for empathy and understanding, and were released on HUNGER Magazine’s online platform.

Listen

Fashion Film

Listen is a fashion film created in collaboration with musician Parker, centred on the mental health experiences of three models. Each story explores a different emotional landscape — happiness, empathy and struggle — told through an honest, stripped-back interview style.

The film focuses on movement, realism and body language, allowing the human moments to speak louder than the visuals. It became a quiet study of what it means to be seen, heard and understood.

The film was released on NOTION Magazine's platform on World Mental Health Day.
